This is like the Greek Islands Trick but for departures. Again, let’s say you want to fly from Atlanta to Berlin, but prices are crazy expensive. Most people living near Atlanta likely don’t think to look for flights from other airports. Why would they when the world’s busiest airport is right there? Remember: We see amazing deals from airports all over the country, and even Atlanta residents can benefit from looking elsewhere.
For example, New York and Miami offer direct flights to Berlin. If you see a cheap fare from one of those airports, it could be worth looking for a $150 flight from Atlanta to New York.
Fly when it’s cheaper
The cheapest time to visit Berlin is during the winter, when it can be dark and cold. However, there are tons of indoor things to do in Berlin, and if you don’t mind cold weather, this can be a great time to visit to save money.
