Welcome to a very special edition of Going's "Meet the Team" series. As you may already know, this series is all about introducing you to the talented individuals behind Going's success. This month, we're excited to celebrate a group of exceptional people working tirelessly to help our members achieve their travel dreams - Member Success! These dedicated individuals are the very heart of our customer service, ensuring that every member's journey is smooth, seamless, unforgettable, and filled with a sense of adventure. With their unwavering commitment, extensive knowledge, and infectious enthusiasm, the Member Success team empowers our members to maximize their Going experience. As we wrap up a week-long global celebration of Customer Service Week, we are excited to take a moment to recognize and celebrate the incredible work done by these remarkable individuals. So, without further ado, let's meet some of the members of our Member Success team as they share what they love most about helping people travel and experience the world:

What aspect of your role in Member Success at Going brings you the most joy and fulfillment?
"There are a number of things in my role on the Member Success team that bring me joy. Of all the aspects, a healthy, ideal workplace is the one that counts the most to me. I enjoy working with supportive and motivated coworkers. Being a part of a collaborative and encouraging team encourages me to remain committed to my job and push myself to produce more.

What does it mean to you personally to be a part of a team that makes a meaningful impact on our members' lives?
"It's everything! I work with some of the most kind and thoughtful human beings around, and I love that we can essentially collaborate with our members to build and refine the service. As we're all travelers ourselves, it's a special environment where we can envision ourselves in the member's shoes and think, "Is this working?" or 'How can we make this easier on the traveler?'"
What aspect of your role in Member Success at Going brings you the most joy and fulfillment?
"Celebrating with members when they book a deal, of course! Vacations, along with the experiences that come from them, are something many will hold on to for the rest of their lives, and It's a surreal feeling knowing we played a role in helping them reach that point. We don't provide phone support, but I swear you can hear the excitement through their messages!"

What does it mean to you personally to be a part of a team that makes a meaningful impact on our members' lives?
“Travel has been at the core of making my dreams come true, and when I saw the opportunity with Member Success at Going, I had to put my absolute best forward. I've known from my own journey that new experiences have always provided the necessary space for self-actualization and personal growth - in addition to the many forms of traveling that can fully change the course of one's life. I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to attend and grow in life, however big or small imagined, and it is our mission as humans to make these experiences accessible to each other. Member Success is at the front of that mission, alongside every team and individual at Going, making the world's wonders that much more wonderful by lending a helping hand.”

What aspect of your role in Member Success at Going brings you the most joy and fulfillment?
"Working with Going, I love being a part of being on the ground floor for changes and having my voice heard. Our leadership is great in that they include us in decisions that must be made so you always feel as though you are making an impact within the growth of Member Success and leaving an impression daily."
Share an example of a time when a member's success story inspired you or your team.
“I can't think of just one, but I always love it when we can be a part of someone's big life moment. From helping members find their honeymoon itinerary when they find a deal email and worry it's no longer available. Members who have bucket list destinations, and through our collaborations with the experts, we can help them make it an even bigger experience. The moments that inspire me to work with Member Success are the ones that can sometimes be overlooked. Going is built on the traveler's experience. Member success is always a reminder that we play a part in memories that will be talked about with families years down the line.”
What does it mean to you personally to be a part of a team that makes a meaningful impact on our members' lives?
“I'm pretty big on waking up every day with a purpose, so it's a pretty dope feeling. On top of that, I get to do it alongside some amazing people who want to create even bigger moments.”

What aspect of your role in Member Success at Going brings you the most joy and fulfillment?
“Our entire team is truly member-obsessed, so we live for the messages we get from members who take the time to share a special, funny, or unique travel moment with us. It never gets old and always reminds us about what we're here to do.”
Can you share a memorable member success story that has left a lasting impression on you?
“One of our longtime members is also a super-talented songwriter who writes original songs for each destination he and his family travel to. He's been kind enough to write in and share his songs with us - our entire team has his catchy "Barcelona" song memorized. Shoutout to this member - can't wait to hear your next tune. 🙂”
How does it feel to be a part of a team that has such a significant impact on our members' lives?
“It's truly awesome. I can definitively say that travel has changed my outlook on life, so being part of the team that directly interfaces with our members to help them live out their travel dreams couldn't be more fulfilling. Getting an "I booked it!" reply to a Going deal sparks joy every single time.”

What aspect of your role in Member Success at Going brings you the most joy and fulfillment?
“I love working for a company that cares, and I LOVE when members feel that and specifically call it out in their communication with us. The flexibility that we have to be human and create personal connection, take a little extra time to do what needs to be done, and use our judgment to find the best way to help and advocate for our members is invaluable. Any time we can make a connections where a member feels seen and heard, no matter how little or how large, it makes my day and makes me immensely proud to be part of our team.”
What does it mean to you personally to be a part of a team that makes a meaningful impact on our members’ lives?
“What we do is a team effort. We rely heavily on our wonderful Product Operations Team. In addition, our Marketing Team creates invaluable resources for our internal team and members. I cannot overstate how grateful I am for them all. Combining our own expertise while collaborating with other teams to help members, then hearing members come back and say, “Thank you! This helps a lot!” or “This is great information!” is always a fist pump, happy dance kind of moment.
And, of course - the member stories! “I took my kid on their high school graduation trip,” “My family had a dream vacation I never thought possible and made so many memories!” is just the best. thing. ever.”
